LEVEL 1/ BEGINNER

Level 1/ Beginner classes guide the student slowly through basic yoga asanas (postures). The class is suitable for the beginner, or the seasoned practitioner. Focus will be on safety and alignment to ensure the beginner student feels more comfortable and familiar with common yoga postures. 

  • The teacher will demonstrate the posture, and then guide you through the pose. Sanskrit terms as well as the English translations will be offered when calling out the poses.

  • Modifications are offered for all poses if needed.

  • Learn to align the body for maximum benefit of the pose

  • Learn how to use the props and why will be offered 

  • Learn to adapt the pose to meet your needs

  • The teacher may make hands on adjustments. 

  • Learn simple breathing techniques

  • As a safety precaution be sure to inform the instructor of any health issues as in Osteoporosis, Glaucoma, Hip Replacements, High or Low Blood pressure, etc so modifications can be made. 

CLASS IS SUBJECT TO CANCELLATION FOR LESS THAN 4 STUDENTS

Other Important information: 
  • Doors open 15 minutes prior to the start of the class and are locked promptly at the appointed time. 
  • NO SHOWS are charged for the reservation.
  • Students have 1 hour prior to class to reserve a space. 
  • Punchpass allows a three hour window to cancel your reservation. If not cancelled, Punchpass charges for the reservation. Please contact Just Breathe if there is a medical emergency and your package will be adjusted. 
  • Students have 120 days to use their pass and classes not used are forfeited.
