Chair Yoga is increasingly popular form of yoga that adapts traditional yoga poses for students that need a little extra support or for better balance. In this class we may sit on the chair while practicing or stand behind the chair for support during various yoga postures. Chair yoga can provide a gentle low-impact way to stay active and maintain muscle tone. 

Benefits of Chair Yoga: The class will be designed to help increase better range of motion, create better balance, more strength and flexibility in the body while meeting students where they are.

Who can participate? 
Anyone can participate in a chair yoga class. This class is especially suitable for seniors or those who struggle to get up and down off the floor or those that just prefer a little extra support. 

Use this chair class to get grounded in the body and mind.
