Yoga is a gentle practice that can be ideal for maintaining back strength, flexibility, improve mobility and a healthy spine. Yoga movement and relaxation practices are some of the best ways to participate in healing an aching back. Yoga postures can help with chronic back pain and help avoid future pain.
 
This class will focus on: 
  • safe postural alignment
  • gentle movement suitable for all
  • encouraging the student to practice within their individual limitations
  • the use of props to help support or adapt a pose 
  • relaxation techniques to relieve tension stored within the back muscles
  • simple stretches to ease chronic tension
  • utilizing the Great Yoga Wall belts to create traction to lengthen the spine and release compression
  • poses to strengthen the back and core to help prevent future issues in the tissues
  • poses to strengthen the leg and arms to better support the body (back, hips, neck and shoulders)

CLASS IS SUBJECT TO CANCELLATION FOR LESS THAN 4 STUDENTS

Other Important information: 
  • Doors open 15 minutes prior to the start of the class and are locked promptly at the appointed time. 
  • NO SHOWS are charged for the reservation.
  • Students have 1 hour prior to class to reserve a space. 
  • Punchpass allows a three hour window to cancel your reservation. If not cancelled, Punchpass charges for the reservation. Please contact Just Breathe if there is a medical emergency and your package will be adjusted. 
  • Students have 120 days to use their pass and classes not used are forfeited.
